About Porcelanosa London

PORCELANOSA Group is today a major reference in both the Spanish and the International market. Its consolidated position has been built up on values such as innovation and quality, but especially the trust placed in its large human capital, made up of almost 5000 skilled professionals, and its concern for its stakeholders and the environment.

Diversifying production has played a key role in the growth of a business group that started off manufacturing a single product: ceramic tiles. Today, the Group’s eight firms offer a vast selection of products ranging from kitchen and bathroom equipment to high-tech materials and state-of-the-art building solutions for contemporary architecture.

Porcelanosa London is the ceramic wall and floor tile sector’s leading manufacturer. It has a workforce of over 800 employees and has forged a worldwide reputation as a business group, thanks to its ongoing efforts in the field of research and quality. The group specializes in single-fired porous, stoneware, and porcelain wall and floor tiles in an extensive variety of formats and finishes. Its products stand out for their high-tech properties, innovative design and unbeatable quality.

Porcelanosa London Floor Tiles

Floor tiles are a product loaded with versatility, design features and finishes that make them a key material for use as flooring in all kinds of space.

Practical and decorative floor tiles

Floor tiles are celebrated for their properties, unrivalled by other construction materials. They offer complete versatility for installation in all kinds of settings thanks to their high strength and durability. Maintaining and cleaning tiles is simple and can be done in a low-cost and domestic manner. Low porosity and exceptional resistance to high temperatures, chemicals and aggressive atmospheric agents—as well as a great capacity for thermal and electrical insulation—give added value to this highly efficient material.

From an aesthetic perspective, the natural-effect finishes, colour-fading processes, arrangement and different sizes or the appearance of the tiles add more decorative value to this type of flooring.

There are many collections of ceramic floor tiles suitable for all types of projects: large sizes that resemble natural rocks and stone, others that replicate a concrete finish to create a starker setting, tiles with the appearance of wood and those which emulate the hydraulic or cement tiling, among others.

Porcelanosa London Wall Tiles

Thanks to their functionality and intricate design, ceramic tiles achieve excellent results as a surface for challenging spaces in terms of aesthetics and functionality.

Variety of wall tiles for all types of spaces

In an endless range of colours, sizes, textures and finishes, ceramic wall tiles are a great ally when putting together the ideal design for a room, whatever the predominant style of the overall project may be. Tiles with intriguing reliefs, modern slabs that recreate the sober feel of natural stone, warm wood-effect surfaces or special products such as the extra-thin XLight ceramic tile, among others. The versatility of these tiles is perfect for attractive architectural solutions, such as the continuous effect between floors and walls using the same surface material, or the visual fusion of exteriors and interiors using identical surfaces inside and outside.

Characteristics of Porcelanosa London ceramic wall tiles

Ceramic has unique properties as a construction material, is appropriate for a variety of uses and can be placed in different environments without deteriorating due to its great strength and durability. Ceramic tiles are often used in spaces that require high durability due to frequent use, such as bathrooms and kitchens, as they are highly waterproof and are easy to maintain and clean at a low cost. Furthermore, the material is highly effective at insulating both heat and electricity, meaning it provides considerable resistance against high temperatures, chemicals and aggressive atmospheric agents.

Ecological commitment

All the firms that make up the Group bank on an environmentally friendly interior design.

The ecological commitment acquired by the PORCELANOSA Grupo is well established, in the past, as well as in the present and the future of the firm. The productive system has been carried out for over 30 years now in all its stages with the aim of having the environmental impact minimised throughout the chain: from the moment of conceptualisation and product design, to the very end of its service life.

The materials from the different firms that make up the PORCELANOSA Grupo offer functionalities, properties or characteristics which have been thought up and designed in order to offer an excellent experience to the user, and furthermore, to attain environmental improvement as well.

The care and conservation of the environment has always been one of the PORCELANOSA Group’s major concerns. Sustaining our lifestyle and the crucial environmental balance that this implies requires specific policies and tangible actions. PORCELANOSA Grupo has always been well ahead of market trends in this area, and for more than 30 years have been implementing improvements to its production systems, aimed at minimising their impact on the environment.

PORCELANOSA Grupo’s environmental strategy goes far beyond the optimisation of production systems; indeed, our efforts are also centred on the design of products that contribute to the reduction of water and energy consumption in the home. Examples of this include taps that limit the water flow or building solutions that allow for energy savings in their heating systems.

Venis London

Porcelanosa’s experience in the ceramic tile-manufacturing sector prompted the creation of Venis. As a result, right from the very outset, it succeeded in forging a leading international reputation as a stoneware and porcelain tile manufacturer.

Porcelanosa London Natural stone floor tiles

The careful selection of natural stones from L’Antic Colonial features several designs and finishes that can be used as stone floor or wall coverings. Among the most popular stones are sandstone, slate, limestone, quartzite and marble. In addition to the trademark hardness and consistency of these pieces, they offer multiple creative options for any project. Each of their formats and textures can be cut to size, thus adapting to the demands or type of each project. Custom cutting is ideal for creating interior and exterior spaces with superior personality and durability, as well as furniture or accessories for the home.

Porcelanosa London Slate floor tiles

Slate is a metamorphic rock with a dense, foliated and fine-grain structure. Composed of quartz, muscovite, clay and feldspar, this rock does not absorb water and stands up to any weather condition. Its range of colours includes blues, greys, reds, purples and greens. Used as building material, especially on façades and roofs (Black architecture), its resistance to chemical or thermal impacts and its easy application make it the perfect flooring for bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms. The slate concepts from L’Antic Colonial adapt to any project or space. The collections include: Delhi, Nepal, Bhutan, Kathmandu and Patagonia, and the thickness of the pieces varies between 1 and 2 cm, depending on the design.

Porcelanosa London Limestone floor tiles

Limestone has become a favourite material for current interior design. Composed mainly of calcium carbonate, limestone withstands the passage of time (hardness of 3 on the Mohs scale) and human wear. This is why it is used in bathrooms, kitchens and on façades. It has natural brightness and a translucent composition that filters UV rays. The three L’Antic Colonial collections (Vancouver, Shallow Rock and Praia) have been designed for both floor and wall tiles and come in different colours: White, grey or cream.

Porcelanosa London Travertine floor tiles

Travertine is a sedimentary rock formed by deposits of calcium carbonate. Its great strength and elevated porosity made it one of the most used materials of the Roman Empire. The Colosseum and the Theatre of Marcellus in Rome are two of the most iconic Roman monuments built with this material. Available in a wide variety of shapes and colours, this stone is usually installed as a single element in indoor or outdoor areas such as swimming pools and terraces. With a smooth, fibrous texture, the four collections by L’Antic Colonial (Mola, Toscano, Silver Wood and Ocean Wood) adjust to different spaces in white, beige, brown or grey tones.

Porcelanosa London Marble floor tiles

The 11 marble collections from L’Antic Colonial offer a wide range of flooring possibilities. Their different formats and colours can be installed as floor or wall tiles both in home improvement projects (bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms) and in renovation and contract projects. The marble is highly bright and glossy. This is demonstrated by each of its shades, which range from the purest white (Blanco Carraam Artic White or Neve di Carro Ara) and grey (Nairobi Grey and Caspian Grey) to the most intense black (Havana Dark). Each piece is modified to suit the customer’s tastes thanks to the availability of different finishes (stone, polished, classico, Sand Home or Lined Home). Designed for indoor and outdoor spaces, the treatment applied to each of the brand’s pieces adds a protective layer to the stone (BIOPROT). A sculptural touch to large-scale projects.
