• Floorify click vinyl is a rigid vinyl flooring system that uses a clicklocking mechanism - boards or tiles “click” together to form a floating floor, without the need for full adhesive installation. 

It combines the visual versatility of vinyl (wood, stone, tile effects) with the ease and performance of a click system, making it suitable for renovation applications, wet rooms and general interior spaces. 

Floorify click vinyl is typically available in 4 mm or 4.5 mm total board thickness. 

The Peach collection (planks & small tiles) is usually 4 mm thick. 

The Mango (herringbone, XL planks, Twist) and Mint (long planks, large tiles) collections use 4.5 mm. 

An underlay is used beneath the flooring to provide acoustic and comfort properties. Common underlay thicknesses include 1.5 mm or 2 mm, so the overall finished floor thickness typically ranges from 5.5 mm to 6.5 mm including underlay. 

Floorify employs a click system (locking profile) that allows boards or tiles to interlock securely without glue. 

Installation is floating: you lay the underlay, then click the Floorify planks or tiles together. No fullarea adhesive is required, which reduces mess, complexity and installation time. 

Because of its click system, Floorify is also relatively renovationfriendly: it can often be installed over existing floors (tiles, wood) provided the substrate is level and in suitable condition. 

Here are some key differences:

Versus laminate:

• Floorify is 100 % water resistant (including core), whereas laminate has a fibre core (e.g. MDF) susceptible to moisture damage. 
• Floorify is quieter - laminate can generate ticking or noise due to air gaps and harder surfaces. 
• Floorify’s thin board often allows existing doors to remain uncut. 

Versus gluedown vinyl / LVT:

• Click systems allow for floating installation, which is cleaner (no full adhesive), faster and sometimes more flexible for renovations.
• Gluedown systems may offer slightly thinner joints or different load performance in commercial settings.

Versus traditional vinyl sheet:

• Click vinyl offers better design flexibility (plank, tile, pattern), modular repairability and easier installation without adhesives across entire areas.

Yes. Floorify’s rigid click vinyl is designed to be water resistant, making it suitable for wet areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms, areas where moisture is present. 

However, correct installation is essential:

Edge sealing / perimeter sealing may be needed

Proper waterproofing substrates or tanking systems behind the floor (if in shower or wet zones)

Use of suitable underlays and moisture barriers where required

Avoid standing water for prolonged periods

When installed properly, Floorify performs well in these environments.

Floorify is engineered to be tough. It features:

A robust top protective layer that resists stains, wear and everyday traffic 

A Rigid Core that provides structural stability, preventing expansion or contraction under changing temperatures or humidity 

Excellent resistance to scuffs, scratches and abrasions in normal domestic settings

While it is very durable, like any flooring product, lifespan will be influenced by usage, maintenance, installation quality and environmental conditions.

Floorify comes in a variety of design collections and styles, including:

• Wood look planks – realistic wood textures and tones
• Large format tiles – stone, concrete or tile visuals 
• Herringbone or patterned formats – for decorative layouts 
• Concrete / urban effect designs – sleek contemporary looks 

Because of the click system format, these styles can be deployed without complex glue layouts or elaborate pattern templates.

Proper substrate preparation is critical:

Ensure the surface is flat, level, rigid, clean and dry

Remove loose material, protrusions, contaminations

If installing over existing tile floor, joints or grooves should be less than about 5 mm wide and 4 mm deep (or levelled) 

If moisture is present, manage it (moisture membrane, damp proofing)

Use underlay appropriate to Floorify (as recommended) to even out minor irregularities and provide acoustic insulation

A poorly prepared subfloor will compromise the visual finish and performance of the click vinyl floor.

Yes. Because it is a floating click system, individual planks or tiles can typically be removed and replaced if you keep spare matching boards from your original order. This modular repair ability is one of the strengths of click vinyl systems.

Ordering extra boards (a safety margin, e.g. 510 %) at the time of purchase is prudent to cover future cuts, waste or repairs.

Maintenance is straightforward:

Sweep or vacuum (soft brush) to remove dust and grit

Mop with a damp mop and a pHneutral cleaning solution suitable for vinyl

Avoid excessive water or overly wet mopping

Wipe up spills promptly

Place felt pads under furniture legs

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, bleach or waxes not intended for vinyl

For textured or relief surfaces, use soft brushes to clean grooves gently
